We’re Hiring: Join Our Team as a Seasonal River Ranger
Do you enjoy working outdoors, caring for public spaces, and making a visible impact in your community? The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) is looking for passionate individuals to join our team as Seasonal River Rangers through November 2026.
River Rangers play a vital role in keeping the Woonasquatucket River Greenway and surrounding parks welcoming, safe, and thriving. As stewards of our 7-mile urban Greenway, Rangers help maintain trails, restore natural areas, care for parks, and serve as friendly ambassadors for the thousands of people who use these spaces every year.
Working alongside our Field Supervisors, River Rangers maintain landscapes, operate equipment, assist with volunteer projects, and help educate the community about environmental stewardship and the importance of protecting our rivers and green spaces.
