A Toast to Revive the Roots
We were honored to join our friends and partners at Revive the Roots for their Annual Donor Appreciation Gala at Mowry Commons in Smithfield. It was a beautiful evening in the gardens and a chance to celebrate the people who make their work possible.
Revive the Roots has been bringing people together at Mowry Commons since 2011. Across its 23 acres, you’ll find community gardens, walking trails, agricultural fields, pollinator habitat, gathering spaces, and plenty of opportunities to learn, create, and spend time outside.

We’re lucky to partner with Revive the Roots throughout the year, from hikes and cleanups to community events. We always look forward to their Earth Day celebration and Rootstock, and this year we were especially excited to take part in the new Nature is Gay: Summer Solstice and Pride Celebration.

There’s a lot we appreciate about Revive the Roots, but especially the way they bring people and nature together. Whether you’re growing food, walking the trails, volunteering, learning something new, or simply enjoying the gardens, Mowry Commons feels like a place where everyone can find a way to belong.
The gala was a great excuse to gather, share a meal, and raise a glass to the staff, board, volunteers, donors, and community members behind it all.

Cheers to Revive the Roots! We’re grateful to have you as a partner and neighbor in the Woonasquatucket River watershed, and we’re looking forward to everything we’ll get to do together next.
