Brookie Makes a Splash at Family Fringe 2026

What a fantastic day celebrating with our friends and neighbors at this year’s Family Fringe + Sims Ave Block Party!

Hosted by the Wilbury Theatre Group as part of the Providence Fringe Festival, the free community celebration transformed Sims Avenue into a hub of creativity, music, games, bubbles, crafts, and family fun. We were thrilled to be part of such an incredible lineup of local organizations working together to create a welcoming day for everyone.

Of course, no WRWC event would be complete without our 7-foot brook trout mascot, Brookie, who spent the afternoon greeting families, posing for photos, and making plenty of new fans.

A huge thank you to Wilbury Theatre Group for bringing the neighborhood together once again, and to all of the community partners, volunteers, and families who made the day so special. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year!
