✅ Wants to spend a fun-filled week outdoors on the beautiful Woonasquatucket River Greenway?
Join Red Shed Bike Camp!
At camp, kids explore the watershed on two wheels, enjoying daily bike rides while learning safe riding skills, basic bike maintenance, and watershed stewardship. By the end of the week, campers leave with more confidence, new skills, and a deeper connection to nature.
We believe biking should be for everyone! Scholarships are available to ensure all kids can participate, regardless of income.
Camp Details
📍 Location: Red Shed @ Riverside Park (50 Aleppo St, Providence, RI)
📅 Dates: 7 weeks each summer starting in early July
⏰ Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 3 PM
🌦️ Rain or Shine: we have an indoor space available a short walk away
💲 Cost: $322 per week (full & partial scholarships available)
🎒Take homes: All campers receive a bike helmet and lock to take home
🚲 Bikes available: campers can use one of our bikes or bring their own
🍽 Breakfast & lunch: provided by the City of Providence’s summer food program

Week 1: June 29 – July 3
Week 2: July 6 – 10
Week 3: July 13 -17 Learn-to-Ride
Week 4: July 20 – 24 Learn-to-Ride
Week 5: July 27 – July 31
Week 6: August 3 – 7
Week 7: August 10- 14
Our Learn-to-Ride weeks are for children who are still learning to ride a bike independently. We offer personalized instruction to help kids gain confidence and master the basics of biking in a supportive and fun environment.

Scholarships for Red Shed Bike Camp
At WRWC, we believe every child should have the chance to experience the joy of biking, regardless of financial circumstances. Thanks to generous supporters, we offer need-based scholarships to help make Red Shed Bike Camp accessible to all families.
How to Apply
1️⃣ Submit the Scholarship Form – If applying for multiple children, submit a separate form for each child.
2️⃣Wait for our staff to contact you about your child’s eligibility for a scholarship. You should hear from us within one week.
3️⃣Register your child for camp as soon as possible. If eligible, you’ll receive instructions about how to register online using your scholarship.
