Thank you Vertex!
On September 24, 2025, the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) was joined by an incredible volunteer team from Vertex Pharmaceuticals for a hands-on day of community care along Kinsley Avenue in Providence. Together, we painted the railings that line the Greenway and helped remove invasive plants, improving the health and beauty of this important urban green space.
We are so grateful to Vertex for their hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment to making a difference. Their dedication to improving lives, both through science and community service, shines brightly along the Woonasquatucket River.
