The Kinsley Avenue & Promenade Street Greenway Project transforms a section just west of Downtown Providence into a vibrant linear park. This multi-use trail along the Woonasquatucket River invites walkers, runners, cyclists, and paddlers to enjoy active transportation and recreation. Through extensive landscaping and green infrastructure, this trail not only enhances public spaces but also improves the river’s health by capturing and treating stormwater. The project is a collaboration between the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council and the City of Providence.
