Join Us for the Third Annual Pollinator Safari!

Grab your sunhat, bring your curiosity, and join us on Saturday, May 31 for the Woonasquatucket Greenway Pollinator Safari — a family-friendly outdoor adventure celebrating the busy world of pollinators!

From 2:00 to 4:00 PM, we’ll gather at Riverside Park, Providence, RI (meet at the Red Shed) for an afternoon of hands-on activities, nature exploration, and community fun. This is your chance to explore the beautiful Woonasquatucket River Greenway, connect with local environmental partners, and discover why pollinators are such a vital part of our ecosystems.

What’s in store?

  • Make your own insect stick puppets and egg carton critters

  • Test your knowledge at the pollinator trivia wheel

  • Catch and observe bugs with sweep nets

  • Plant native seeds to bring home

  • Explore interactive stations from awesome partners like RI DEM, Audubon Society of RI, URI Bee Lab, and more
