Overview

Paddle with us and explore a beautiful stretch of hidden wilderness along the Woonasquatucket River in Providence’s Valley District.

We will meet at 4:30 PM at the newly completed boat launch on Kinsley Avenue. After a brief check-in and gear prep, we will launch by 5:00 PM for a guided, out-and-back paddle toward downtown Providence.

This 90-minute paddle offers a unique chance to experience the river as a wildlife corridor while learning about the history and impact of the Woonasquatucket River on the city.

Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.
