Overview
Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) for a cozy, family-friendly celebration of the winter solstice at the Leo Bouchard Conservation Center. Enjoy guided hikes, warm drinks, snacks, and hands-on crafting as we welcome the shortest day of the year.
Event Details
This drop-in event runs 10:00 am–1:00 pm, with indoor activities available throughout. Participants can join one or both of our short guided hikes:
• 10:30 am
• 12:00 pm
Registration is encouraged to reserve your hiking spot, but walk-ins are welcome. Inside the Leo Bouchard Conservation Center, guests can enjoy seasonal snacks, warm drinks, and craft activities for all ages.

Accessibility & Parking
Parking is available at the Leo Bouchard Center, with additional on-street parking on Waterview Drive. The center has bathrooms and potable water. Please dress for winter conditions and bring a personal light source for navigating in the dark.
