Walk The Greenway with Jill Davidson
Tuesdays, 5:30–6:30 PM May to September (weekly except July 1, August 5, and August 12)
Meet at Riverside Park, Aleppo Street entrance
Join us for a weekly, beginner-friendly walk along the Woonasquatucket River Greenway led by WRWC’s Director of Development and Communications (and enthusiastic walker) Jill Davidson and her dog June! Most weeks will feature special guests who can help us learn more about the flora, fauna, history, and evolution of the Woonasquatucket River Greenway. These free walks are open to all ages and fitness levels. Each walk will last about an hour, covering either a scenic loop or a stretch of the Greenway.
Renee Stoops, our new Greenway Operations Manager, will join us on June 10 to talk about what led her to joining the WRWC crew–and much more. Renee will share her vision of what’s next for Riverside Park and other Greenway spaces, along with her deep knowledge of what’s growing, changing, and happening on the land and in the water.
Bring your friends, family, and on-leash pups—everyone’s welcome! We will meet at the Riverside Park parking lot (use the Aleppo Street entrance) and walk for an hour.
Registration encouraged, sign up so we know you’re coming. Let’s move, connect, and enjoy the Greenway together.
