Overview
Join WRWC for Sugar Bush Care Day, the second event in our Nuestros Bosques Event Series! Help care for the forest that our maple trees call home while learning about urban woodland ecology.
Activities include:

Removing invasive plants

Planting native trees and understory plants

Crafts and hands-on nature activities

Sharing food and drinks with fellow participants
This is a hands-on, family-friendly event—come ready to get outdoors and make a difference in your local forest!
Parking & Directions

Closest parking: 90 Salmon Street, a short walk (~¼ mile) to the site. Signs will guide you to the event.

Alternative: Park at Merino Park and walk over the bridge to the site.
Accessibility & Amenities

Accessible to anyone able to use the bike path.

Bathrooms: Closest public restroom is a 10-minute walk away.
