Overview

Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) and our partners at SPIN for a guided group ride along the Woonasquatucket River Greenway with free e-bike and e-scooter rentals available for participants. The ride will finish back at Farm Fresh RI—perfect timing to enjoy the indoor farmer’s market happening that morning.

Event Details

We’ll meet at the Farm Fresh RI building (10 Sims Ave, Providence, RI 02909) starting at 9:50 am for a 10:00 am departure. Please meet on the Kinsley Avenue side of the building, facing the river.

Before we head out, SPIN staff will offer a brief e-bike demonstration. Then we’ll enjoy a relaxed, out-and-back ride on the Greenway, with an optional turnaround point at Lyman Ave in Johnston for an approximately 8-mile round trip. The ride will last 45 minutes to 1 hour, and we’ll travel at a pace comfortable for the whole group.

Participants may request a free SPIN helmet, and those not using SPIN equipment are welcome to bring their own bikes or scooters. All riders must wear a helmet.

Registration

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged so you can reserve an e-bike, e-scooter, and/or helmet before spots fill up. Please use the “add-ons” section at checkout to reserve SPIN equipment.

Drop-ins are welcome, but availability of SPIN bikes and helmets is not guaranteed.

Please dress warmly—winter temperatures and wind are likely. In cases of extreme cold, ice, or precipitation, the ride will be rescheduled.
