With the inclement weather expected this weekend, we have a change of plans from our previously scheduled Spin ride on the Greenway:
Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC)and our partners from SPIN on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 9:00am to 1:00 PM for a swag-filled table where you can learn about both our organizations and how we work to promote accessible transit and eco-friendly mobility in RI. SPIN will be providing FREE HELMETS while supplies last, and WRWC will provide some UMBRELLAS and DRAWSTRING BAGS from our sponsors at AARP supporting our recent Greenway mapping project. SPIN is also providing e-scooters and e-bikes for folks to take short rides on the Greenway!
We’ll meet at the Farm Fresh RI building (10 Sims Ave, Providence, RI 02909) throughout the whole market, and we’ll be located in the hall right outside of New Harvest Coffee.
Accessibility & Parking
Parking is available at Farm Fresh RI, though it may be busy due to the indoor farmer’s market (9am–1pm). The building offers bathrooms and water fountains for participants.
Please dress warmly—winter temperatures and wind are likely. In cases of extreme cold, ice, or precipitation, the ride will be rescheduled.
