Join neighbors monthly at Riverside Park to clean, plant, and care for the Greenway while building community along the River
The Riverside Park Friends Group meets once a month along the Woonasquatucket River at Aleppo Street in Providence. Together, volunteers help care for the multi use trail, park space, playground, community garden, and bike camp area.
We are looking for friends and neighbors to join us for these clean up and landscaping days. Whether picking up litter, planting, weeding, or spreading mulch, your helping hands make a big difference in keeping this beloved park clean, green, and welcoming for everyone.
This is a great opportunity to meet neighbors and spend time with fellow river stewards.
Each event is led by our River Ranger team, the Greenway maintenance crew.

What to Expect
We will be working outdoors unless extreme weather requires cancellation. Please dress for outdoor work with sun protection, long pants, and closed toe shoes. Bring water and a snack if you would like. All tools and equipment will be provided.
