Join WRWC and regional leaders from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York for a free public conversation about building connected greenways that strengthen communities, expand recreation, and improve access to nature.

Moderated by Reif Larsen of the Future of Small Cities Institute, the panel features Lindsay Zefting of Verity Engineering, Gerald Autler of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, and WRWC Executive Director Alicia Lehrer.

Together, they’ll explore the partnerships, public leadership, and investments needed to connect trails across municipal boundaries, including efforts to close the seven-mile gap between the Blackstone River Bikeway and East Bay Bike Path.

Come learn how greenways can support transportation, river restoration, climate resilience, and stronger communities across Rhode Island!
