Noticing Neutaconkanut: A Walk with Mushrooms
Dates: Wednesday, July 30 • Wednesday, August 13 • Saturday, August 23
Time: 9 AM
Location: 120 Killingly Street, Providence, RI

This isn’t your average walk through nature.

Join us for a mindful morning on Neutaconkanut Hill, where mushrooms will be our guide to understanding the quiet magic of the forest. Together, we’ll explore how fungi shape their environment through transformation, facilitation, and connection—unseen forces that help forests thrive.

As we walk, we’ll also pause to observe the trees, birds, and wildlife that call this unique urban forest home, sharing insights and questions along the way. Each walk will be an invitation to slow down, look closer, and deepen our connection with this extraordinary place.

Presented in partnership with Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy, Inc., 15 Minute Field Trips, RImycoS, and the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council.
