Join WRWC for a family-friendly, bat-themed guided bike ride on the Woonasquatucket River Greenway—plus a hands-on bat workshop with 15 Minute Field Trips! Costumes encouraged.

- Sliding scale: $5–$15 if bringing your own bike
- Reserve a WRWC bike in advance (register by 10/24 at 12 PM)

About the Ride
We’ll gather at Riverside Park to see the bat boxes, then ride 2 miles up the Greenway to Goldsmith Street in Johnston for the “Just Batty” workshop with 15 Minute Field Trips. After learning about these amazing flying mammals and crafting bat puppets, we’ll bike back to Riverside Park. Total trip: 4 miles.
This is a family-friendly event, but participants should be comfortable riding a bike. This is not a learn-to-ride program.
Bike, Gear & Registration
- Bring your own bike ($5–$15 sliding scale)
- Reserve a WRWC bike in advance (by Friday, 10/24, 12 PM)
- Helmets are required
