Haul Road Community Walk
Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) for a family-friendly, four-mile community walk along Haul Road in Johnston! This guided tour will showcase the incredible transformation of this former industrial site into a future extension of the Woonasquatucket River Greenway.

Guided Tour & Guest Speaker
The tour will be led by environmental experts and partners, including:
- Zachary Edwards from Loureiro Engineering, who will discuss the site’s remediation process, ongoing water quality monitoring, and the broader impact of environmental restoration.
- Andrew Delisle from WRWC’s River Ranger team, who will share firsthand experiences on riverbank restoration efforts, including live staking and habitat improvements.
