Join WRWC, local artists, and River Rangers for a springtime celebration of art, community, and blooming landscapes along the Woonasquatucket River Greenway.
Event Details
Kick off the morning behind Gotham Greens with a welcome and artist talks celebrating recent site improvements, including:
- A metal flower sculpture by Warren Collins
- The RainKeep sculpture by Allison Newsome
- A vibrant mural by Tate Won Chen, created with community volunteers
Enjoy music, games, community tabling, and time to explore the space before heading out on the Greenway.
Optional Guided Bike Ride 🚲
Start Time: 10:45 AM
Hop on your bike for a relaxed, guided ride along the Greenway to see thousands of blooming bulbs and River Rangers projects in action.
- ~2 miles round trip
- Paved, off-road path
- Conversational pace with multiple stops
- Approx. 1 hour duration
- Turnaround at Manton Outdoor Classroom (15 Goldsmith St, Johnston, RI)
Over 28,000 bulbs were planted along the Greenway this past year—come see them in bloom!
Bike Information
- Bring your own bike (in good working condition) and helmet (required)
- Limited WRWC bike + helmet rentals available (reserve by Thursday, April 9)

- Parking: Free parking at Gotham Greens + nearby Eagle Square
- Restrooms: Accessible portable restroom at Donigian Park along route
- Water: Drinking water provided
- Wheelchair Access: Greenway path is paved and accessible; some areas may be uneven or sloped
