Goldsmith Street Volunteer Day
The Goldsmith Friends Group gathers once a month at 15 Goldsmith Street (at the Fish Ladder) along the Woonasquatucket River to care for the multi-use trail, outdoor classroom, and build community around this special place.
We’re looking for Johnston friends and neighbors to join us for these clean-up and landscaping days. Together, we’ll keep this beloved stretch of the Woonasquatucket River Greenway clean, green, and welcoming for everyone. Whether we’re picking up litter, planting, weeding, or spreading mulch, your helping hands make a big difference in keeping the park beautiful and safe for all who visit.
The Goldsmith Friends Group is a great opportunity to meet neighbors and spend time with fellow River Heroes.
Each event is led by our River Range team, our Greenway maintenance crew.
We’ll be outside working unless extreme weather requires cancellation. Please dress appropriately for outdoor work, including sun protection, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. Bring water and a snack if you’d like. We’ll provide all tools and equipment needed for the day’s projects.
