Participants will explore the unique features of E-bikes while practicing safe riding techniques such as starting, stopping, turning, and hazard avoidance. The class also introduces key rules of the road, local regulations, and strategies for riding predictably and respectfully alongside pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.
Two different models of E-bikes will be used during this class. Ride share bikes will be provided by Spin, and personal-use E-bikes will be provided by Mission Electric.
No prior E-bike experience is required. All participants must be 16 years or older. Bikes and helmets will be provided.
