The WRWC was recently featured in The Valley Breeze Observer!
The Blackstone Tourism Council has announced its season of guided tours at Central Falls Landing, as well as a special guest speaker series with environmental leaders in Rhode Island. This event series celebrates the 30 years of youth environmental education and river tours aboard the Blackstone River Explorer.
Among the guest speakers, WRWC’s Environmental Education Director Amanda Peavey will be giving a talk on July 23, titled “The Ins and Outs of a Brook Trout.” On August 27, Greenway Manager Jacob Gorke will be presenting “An Introduction to Fish of Providence Watersheds.”
