We’re excited to share that registration is officially open for the 2026 Red Shed Bike Camp season, including our Spring Girls Bike Camp and seven weeks of summer bike camp for youth ages 8–13.

At WRWC, we believe biking should be for everyone. That’s why full and partial scholarships are available and awarded on a rolling basis beginning February 1, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, ride, and explore the Woonasquatucket River Greenway.

Celebrating New Riders Together

Building on the success of last year’s Bike Camp Graduation community rides, we’re thrilled to bring back the Bike Camp Graduation Series in 2026.

On the Friday afternoon of each camp week, families, friends, and community members are invited to join us for a free celebratory bike ride honoring our newest riders. These rides are a joyful way to recognize campers’ hard work, build community, and experience the Greenway together.

Girls Bike Camp

April School Break | Ages 8–13

Taking place during April school vacation, Girls Bike Camp is designed to empower young girls, especially those with little or no biking experience, to ride with confidence.

Too often, girls are told biking isn’t for them. We’re here to say, yes, you can.

Over the course of the week, campers learn bike mechanics, safe riding skills, and environmental stewardship while enjoying supportive group rides along the Woonasquatucket River. Girls Bike Camp creates a welcoming, confidence-building space where participants can develop independence, strength, and a lifelong love of biking.

Red Shed Bike Camp

Each day, campers explore the watershed on two wheels while learning bike safety, basic maintenance, and stewardship of local natural spaces. By the end of the week, campers leave with stronger riding skills, increased confidence, and a deeper connection to the outdoors.
