A Little Library Lands in Donigian Park

Good news, neighbors — Donigian Park has a new tiny library, thanks to a generous donation from RI Energy! It’s a simple idea that makes the park feel even more welcoming: take a book, read it, bring it back when you’re done, or leave another one for someone else to enjoy.

Tiny libraries do a lot with a little. They make it easier for everyone to get books, help spark a love of reading for kids and adults, and give folks one more reason to stop, say hello, and feel connected.

If you haven’t been to Donigian Park in a while, this is a great excuse to swing by. The park is a real neighborhood favorite — a place where people come to walk the track, let the kids loose on the playground, hop on the bike path spur, or just enjoy some time along the Woonasquatucket River. It’s relaxed, community-driven, and always changing in ways that reflect the people who use it.

We’re grateful to RI Energy for adding something small that will have a big impact.

Grab a book next time you’re here — and happy reading!
