More Ways to Get Involved:
Volunteers at Neutaconkanut Park in Providence.
There are many ways to get involved in the Watershed Council:
You can make a contribution! By making a tax-deductable donation to the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council you can help us continue the work we are doing to restore the Woonasquatucket River and provide cultural, educational and recreational programming for youth, adults and families. Make a contribution
You can join our email list! This is the best way to find out about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
If you ever want to be removed from our mailing list you can use the link included at the end of each email or you can contact us directly and we will take you off the list.
You can volunteer; You can adopt-a-spot on the bike path! Every summer we have volunteer clean-ups along the river, park improvement days, and similar volunteer projects and we also involve volunteers in other ways including helping with canoe trips, monitoring water quality, and taking care of the bike path. To find out about clean-ups, canoe trips and other events, sign up on our mailing list above. For information about adopting a spot on the bike page see the Adopt-A-Spot page. For information about other volunteer opportunities, please contact us.
