The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) was recently awarded up to $150,000 from the state through the Take It Outside grant program!

This program uses money from the state’s share of the American Rescue Plan Act to help eligible small businesses pay for outdoor equipment, infrastructure and activities for customers. The funding, totaling $4.8 million, was announced on Monday, April 11, by Governor McKee and was awarded to 21 businesses and organizations, including the WRWC.
