The WRWC is excited to announce that we are now accepting submissions for our upcoming art show celebrating the Woony!
During the month of November 2022, the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) will be presenting Vibrant Life in the Woonasquatucket River Watershed, an art gallery sale hosted by Sprout CoWorking. This event celebrates the Woonasquatucket River, and the community of artists who have been an integral part of our work. This sale will also raise awareness of and funds for the WRWC’s programs and activities.
We invite work that has been shaped and inspired by the Woonasquatucket River and its connected waterways. We encourage artwork across all mediums that brings forward questions about human impacts on the environment, points of tension, and those that celebrate the vibrancy of our shared watershed.
Submissions are now open, and the deadline to submit your artwork is September 1, 2022. Artists who are selected for the show will be notified by September 16, 2022.
