Fish Fun(d) Fundraiser

Get your tickets now for the Fish Fun(d), a deeply delightful evening of support for the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council’s programs and services. Your participation will directly support our work to improve water quality, promote environmental education, and engage in riverfront restoration efforts.

Guests will enjoy:

  • Pre-party Greenway bike tour led by the Red Shed bike programs team
  • Delicious locally sourced food prepared by Harvest Kitchen, a program of Farm Fresh RI
  • Beverages by New Harvest Coffee & Spirits
  • Host with the most RI Representative David Morales (who is also WRWC’s Community Action Director)
  • A Woonasquatucket watershed-inspired costume contest with a $250 cash prize! Join us as your favorite local fauna or flora. We can’t wait to see how you dazzle us with your creativity and sparkle!
  • Amazing live music acts including the Moonbellies, DJ Thirsty, and the Extraordinary Rendition Band
  • Intensely covetable raffle collections: take your chances to win Go Fish (fish-themed art and more), Go Fresh (a gorgeous cornucopia of local foods) , or Go Fun (sporting goods and other accessories to make sure your time on the Greenway is the best)
  • And more fabulous fun while raising critically needed funds to sustain our community-based nonprofit

Parking Information: Use the interconnected Farm Fresh RI and Charlotte Hope Plaza parking lots, with entrances available from both Kinsley Ave and Sims Ave. Nearby street parking is available on both Harris Ave and Sims Ave.

Accessibility Information: Wheelchair accessible ramps from both Kinsley and Sims Ave entrances. Restrooms and water fountains available inside the building.

What to Wear: Your Watershed creature costume, or your best fun and festive party attire.

We will be asking for critically needed funds at the Fish Fun(d), so come prepared to make a pledge to support the the transformative work we’re all doing together. Every little bit counts, so get ready to raise your fish paddle and pitch in whatever amount is meaningful to you.
