Join us to beautify the Hillside Avenue to Manton Pond section of the Woonasquatucket River Greenway in Johnston. Volunteers will plant flowers, clear litter, remove invasive plants, spread mulch, and put on waders and hop into canoes for in-water cleanups this stretch of the Woonasquatucket River.
Location: Hillside Avenue, Johnston, RI
Date: Saturday, April 20, 10 am-2 pm
We will provide everything you need to have a successful volunteer experience. We recommend that you bring a reusable water bottle, and if you have work gloves that you would like to use, please bring those as well. If not, we have plenty of gloves for your use.
