FISH COUNT TRAINING SESSIONS

Sunday, March 24, 10:00 am-12:00 pm

Please note that you can drop in for these trainings anytime during these scheduled events–it’s not a 2-hour commitment. Training takes 15-20 minutes.

Where: Rising Sun Mills Fish Ladder, 166 Valley St, Providence, RI 02909

Every spring, the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council and a team of volunteers count herring returning to the river at our Rising Sun Mills fish ladder. Volunteers sign up for quick 10-minute counts at their convenience. Join our team of volunteers and help us count the fish!

These training/refreshing sessions are for new and returning fish counters. If these times don’t work for you, contact us to schedule a one-on-one session.
