Bike Ride to Apple Picking At Dame Farm

Join the WRWC as we take a pleasant, 7 mile bike ride to Dame Farm in Johnston for some classic, Autumn apple picking. We will be leaving from Riverside Park in Providence and traveling along the Woonasquatucket River Greenway bike path. Where the paved path ends in Johnston, we’ll travel along Greenville Avenue, passing by many of Johnston’s scenic farms and Snake Den State Park. Make sure to bring a back-pack or basket as we will each be coming home with a bag of fresh-picked apples. This ride is 14-miles round trip, with some steep hills, and will take about 4 hours.
