Georgiaville Pond – Smith Appleby House

Cancelled due to unsafe water conditions.

Once you get out of work (or endless video chatting) we would love to have you join us for an early evening paddle on Georgiaville Pond in Smithfield, Rhode Island. We will launch from the historic Smith-Appleby House and make our way to the town beach, where participants are invited to take a refreshing swim or just unwind. With a nearly full moon in the sky, the return paddle is sure to be a lovely summer experience. This trip is always the highlight of our paddle season, come along and see why!

As we are practicing Social Distancing, participation in this paddle requires that you bring your own boat, paddles and Coast Guard approved PFD. While paddling advice is always available on our trips we ask that only paddlers with some experience join us on this outing to create the safest possible experience.

Following state guidelines for COVID-19:

  • Participants are required to pre-register for this paddle (10 person limit)
  • Stay home if you’re sick
  • Bring/wear a mask
  • Maintain 6 foot distance from other participants

  • Smith-Appleby House, 220 Stillwater Road, Smithfield (Google Map)
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to unload your boat and get ready to launch.

Please select one ticket for every person who will be coming, including children. This is a give-what-you-can event so select the price level that’s right for you.
